The Summer University drew to a close on 31 August and this is the last edition of the Pizza Europa newsletter. The good news is that you can now relive some of the Summer University's best moments by checking out new articles and videos on the website.

828 speakers and participants, 4 plenary sessions, 46 workshops, 30 musicians, 10 excursions, 7 film screenings and one major fire alarm. That's the statistical overview of the first ever Green European Summer University, which took place at the end of August on the German-Polish border.

What was your highlight of the Summer University? Was it one of the countless lively debates and excellent speakers in the plenary sessions and workshops? Memorable moments included opening plenary reflections on East and West, past and future.

Nobody could have made it to all the Summer University's 50 plenary sessions and workshops. And whatever the topic, a couple of hours in a workshop was never going to be enough to let everyone have their say or to finish the discussions.
